Each branch was covered in a variety of moss and lichen, each one a little collection of varied flora. When I pulled up a elegantly shaped wood chunk that was covered in lichen, my boyfriend Steve said  \"it's a dryad horn!\" That inspired me to sculpt a pair of horns based on the lovely things i had seen in those forests. I loved sculpting these, it was a nice break from worrying about symmetry and smooth, hard surfaces!\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003ch3 data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eSculpted in clay and cast in solid , translucent urethane. Left horn is 2.6 ounces and 6.5\" long, right horns is 2.3 ounces and 6\" long. They are curved inside to sit on the head comfortably.\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003ch3 data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThey work well mounted on a headband but be sure to get a band with some grip to it or bobby pin it to your hair ( if you have hair) so they don't slip forward.
